Anoplolepis Gracilipes

Anoplolepis Gracilipes also known as the “Yellow-Crazy-Ant” is an active ant that is found all over the world. This species is easy to keep. We recommend our Ants Subang Nest to keep them, but if you want to DIY, we recommend a tank with substrate and tree bark or objects in which they can hide. Moss or cork is ideal here.

This species may also practice inbreeding later on. There is a good chance that you will have queens later on that will mate with the males in the nest. This means that they offer lifelong fun. The red coloring of the workers makes them very beautiful to look at.

Queen size: 13 – 16mm *
Size of workers : 4 – 5mm *

What do you do when you receive the parcel?
Do not place the box in the sun Once the parcel has been received, it is best to bring it home and open the box as soon as possible. Don’t forget to take a video while opening the box. When receiving the parcel, take a video while opening the box for the first time upon seeing the queen.

In case there is no video when opening the box will be considered violating the terms of the warranty and will be refrain from claiming.

Warranty: If only the queen dies during transportation, we will send a new queen to the customer who will need to pay the delivery fee, depending on your location, stock availability and ant species. A full refund will take place if seller is out of stock and/or decide not to replace the queen. Seller has full obligation of warranty outcome.

We will not be replacing the queen or the ant colony if the package is left unattended outdoors where their welfare is compromised by the weather. i.e: hot temperatures.
