Ants Subang Tip #08 – Replenish Dried Up Test Tube Water (With Ants Inside)

Problem: Most of you keepers will face this problem like I do. Water ran out and dried up but ants are still in there. I face many and i mean a lot of this dried up test tubes.

Solution: The norm for this is to switch test tube, migrating the colony into a new setup by way of light, darkness or heat. This is not the only way. Using a syringe with the right needle length and diameter will make this method the simplest and fastest way to get water into the test tube setup. This will only work if the test tube is totally out of water but the cotton can still hold water and moisture. All instruction will be in the post.
