Ants Subang TIP #05 – DIY Feeding Tray

Problem: Difficult to feed ants in test tube? Dirty Test Tube? Cleaning problem? Sticky test tube? Moldy test tube?

Solution: Use of straws especially those 10mm diameter straw will work fine. Find them to be most usefull to change out their food when next feeding comes. They dont slip and slide in test tube either. You can tweak the length of the straw depending on the length of your test tube. You can have 1 feeder, 1 drop of sugar water and 1 drop of honey all in one plate. For perfect buffet table always put the feeder insect first, then the liquid food to prevent ants from pulling the feeder into the liquid. This way they are easily maintained, clean or throw them after use. Heck, the ants will sometimes leave their trash there for you to clean out for them.
